Hydrographic printing Operation

1.Film Printing: print the require patterns on the water-soluble polymer film

2.Activate: flat the printed film on the water,place the ink layer face uo on the water, use idiosycratic activator for activation treatment

3.Transfer: transfer printing film to the production with hydraulic principles

4.Wash: rinse the residual film with with the water

5.Dry & spray paint:spray a transparent paint on the surface of the product to avoid damage

The ink films are printed on Polyvinyl Alcohol (PVA) based film. It is very sensitive to moisture and temperature. You must store the film properly to ensure long shelf life and proper decorating. The film must be stored in a humidity and temperature controlled environment. HUMIDITY: Below 60% TEMPERATURE: 68° to 77°F

 

2.How long does it take to create a custom film?

Artwork can usually be taken through the cylinder engraving process to prototype film within 4-6 weeks.

 

3.Can items that are not correctly printed be reprinted?

Yes, items that are not printed to satisfaction can be reprinted.

 

4.What types of items can be printed?

A wide variety of flat or 3-D shapes and manufacturing materials (plastics, metals, etc.) can be printed.

 

5.Do I have to use special water?
